Job Summary

To support large-scale analytics and processing workloads, the full-time Senior Data Platform Engineer will build and maintain Java-based data platform components, design data processing pipelines in Kubernetes-native environments, and ensure platform reliability while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and maintain data platform components in Java for distributed Spark workloads
  • Design and optimize data processing pipelines in Kubernetes-native cloud environments
  • Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to enhance platform features and performance
Required qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in IT roles
  • 3+ years of experience with Java in data platform or distributed systems
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark or similar frameworks
  • Solid foundation in distributed systems design and operation
  • Experience working in Kubernetes or containerized cloud deployments
