Senior Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To support the data strategy, the full-time salaried Senior Data Platform Engineer will design scalable pipelines, champion governance, and enable AI-ready infrastructure while leading cross-functional projects to enhance analytics and automation remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect and optimize cloud-native data warehouse solutions for real-time decision-making
• Design and scale dbt models with a focus on data contracts and observability
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Fivetran and Snowpipe

Required qualifications:

• Strong expertise in data engineering, software engineering, or modern data warehousing
• Proficient in Python and SQL for automation and data platform development
• Experience with job orchestration and infrastructure as code (e.g., Pulumi, Terraform)
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles and architectural patterns
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-squad initiatives and deliver scalable outcomes
