Senior Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Data Platform Engineer (Observability) will design, deploy, and maintain data asset management pipelines, ensuring platform reliability and scalability while enhancing data discovery for healthcare consulting engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Own the observability and search experience for the data platform, improving data quality and reliability
• Implement and operate orchestration and pipeline management solutions using modern data stack tools
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements in data ingestion and storage architectures

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in platform or data engineering roles, primarily focused on cloud infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with data catalog and metadata management platforms such as DataHub or Apache Atlas
• Strong understanding of data observability, metadata management, and data governance concepts
• Experience with cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake or Databricks) and orchestration tools
• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics)
