Senior Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the data infrastructure components, the full-time Senior Data Platform Engineer will build, enhance, and modify the data platform that supports fraud detection products while working remotely in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Build, expand, and optimize data infrastructure to create accurate datasets of identities and their relationships
• Develop and operate secure, scalable, and reliable data ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines that meet product requirements
• Design and maintain a data observability framework to ensure data quality and freshness standards are met

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or a related field
• Proficient in Python or Golang and related technologies and frameworks
• Expertise in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines at scale using distributed data processing technologies
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP
• Deep understanding of various database technologies, including RDBMS and NoSQL, with experience in writing efficient queries
