Senior Data Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the enterprise data platform, the full-time Senior Data Platform Engineer will manage the architecture, engineering, and continuous modernization of a cloud data platform while working remotely to support various business functions including Finance, Sales, and Executive Analytics.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the administration, security, and performance tuning of the Snowflake data platform
- Design and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Informatica, SQL, and Python
- Lead the development of data ingestion, transformation, and delivery processes to support enterprise analytics
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business, Finance, or related discipline; Master's degree preferred
- 8+ years of enterprise data engineering experience with expertise in Snowflake, SQL, and Informatica
- Experience designing enterprise data warehouses and supporting financial reporting processes
- Proficiency in administering AWS services related to data engineering
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical architecture and mentor engineering teams
