Senior Data Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To support the architectural design and execution strategy for merging data platforms, the remote full-time Senior Data Platform Engineer will manage the consolidation of Databricks workspaces or Snowflake accounts, unify metadata catalogs, align security models, and optimize cloud resources.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the architectural design and execution strategy for merging Databricks or Snowflake platforms
- Consolidate data catalogs and align governance models across the organization
- Audit and unify security models, including IAM roles and access controls
Required qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in Data Platform Engineering or Data Architecture
- Proven experience managing AWS ecosystems, including S3, IAM, and VPC
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform
- Development skills in Python and SQL, with experience in code auditing and refactoring
- Experience with data platform migrations and cloud account consolidations is preferred
