Senior Data Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the engineering of a Snowflake data platform, the full-time Senior Data Platform Engineer will translate architectural direction into a production-grade, automated environment that supports analytics and AI/ML workloads while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and evolve Snowflake account, warehouse, and object architecture
- Implement and maintain Snowflake objects, roles, and policies using Infrastructure-as-Code
- Manage ingestion and integration patterns, ensuring operational excellence and reliability
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data platform, data engineering, or data infrastructure
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake in a production environment
- Expertise in Snowflake RBAC design and performance tuning
- Strong SQL skills for query optimization
- Production experience with Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code
