Senior Data Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To support a healthcare technology organization, the fully remote Senior Data Platform Engineer will rebuild the company's data pipeline, modernize the platform, and establish scalable solutions for data ingestion, processing, and storage.
Key responsibilities
- Rebuild and modernize a legacy data pipeline, creating scalable and reliable ingestion, processing, and storage solutions
- Design and develop integrations for APIs, vendor file feeds, BigQuery, and other external data sources
- Develop and manage AWS infrastructure utilizing Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization best practices
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience building and supporting large-scale data platforms or data engineering environments
- Proven experience re-architecting or modernizing data pipelines and infrastructure
- Strong experience with Python, Node.js, Go, TypeScript, or similar backend development technologies
- Deep knowledge of ETL processes, data pipelines, and event-driven architectures
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies
