Senior Data Privacy Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Data Privacy Counsel will craft and execute strategies for data privacy and risk management, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead the implementation of compliance frameworks in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Craft and execute innovative strategies for enterprise data privacy and risk management
• Collaborate with teams such as Security, Product, and Finance to ensure legally compliant customer experiences
• Lead the design and implementation of automated workflows and structured compliance frameworks

Required qualifications

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in privacy law, either in-house or at a law firm
• J.D. with active bar admission in good standing
• Deep working knowledge of CCPA/CPRA and US state privacy law frameworks
• Familiarity with FTC Section 5 standards
• Experience with privacy management platforms like OneTrust is a plus
