Senior Data Protection Engineer

Job Summary

Designing, implementing, and maintaining corporate data protection solutions, the full-time Senior Data Protection Engineer will focus on safeguarding sensitive company and customer information while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain data protection solutions across various platforms
• Customize data protection policies and define data classification schemes to ensure compliance with regulations
• Monitor and triage data protection alerts and incidents, providing technical guidance on emerging threats

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
• Minimum five years of experience in data loss prevention (DLP) engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender
• Knowledge of encryption, data classification, and cloud security principles
• Understanding of data protection laws and compliance frameworks
