Senior Data Protection Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance cybersecurity measures, the full-time Senior Data Protection Engineer will provide expertise in data protection, threat detection, and response capabilities while collaborating remotely with the InfoSec team and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions for data protection, addressing vulnerabilities and system limitations
• Evaluate current capabilities and partner with stakeholders to deliver enhancements aligned with business strategy
• Serve as a security subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to engineering and development teams

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in data protection and cybersecurity roles
• Strong understanding of security policies, standards, and best practices
• Experience with enterprise security solutions and risk assessment
• Ability to mentor and lead junior engineers
• Familiarity with emerging threats and trends in cybersecurity
