Senior Data QA Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data QA Engineer to join an established organization in the luxury travel and hospitality technology space for a fully remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead an end-to-end data quality and validation strategy across cloud-based ETL/ELT pipelines and analytical models
• Design, build, and maintain automated data tests and regression suites using SQL, Python, and modern data QA frameworks
• Implement monitoring and observability checks to proactively detect issues related to data quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience testing and validating data systems, including pipelines and transformations
• Hands-on expertise with SQL and Python for debugging complex data issues
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Fabric, Snowflake, or Databricks
• Background in small or fast-moving teams, demonstrating leadership and autonomy
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and data QA or observability tools
