Senior Data Quality Engineer

Job Summary

To develop automation tools for data validation and reconciliation, the contract Senior Data Quality Engineer will work remotely, focusing on building and maintaining API endpoints, designing data validation frameworks, and integrating automation workflows to ensure data accuracy across various platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop automation tools to validate and reconcile data between API responses and database queries using PostgreSQL and Snowflake
• Build and maintain FastAPI endpoints utilizing Pydantic BaseModel for data validation and SQLAlchemy ORM for database integration
• Design and execute data validation frameworks using pytest and Pandas to ensure accuracy across multiple data sources

Required qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field
• A minimum of five years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Python, including automation and data validation frameworks (pytest, Pandas, Requests, JSON)
• Experience with FastAPI, including Pydantic, BaseModel, and SQLAlchemy ORM
• Expertise in PostgreSQL and Snowflake, including secure connection handling
