Senior Data Quality Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Data Operations team, the full-time Senior Data Quality & Observability Engineer will build and manage data quality and observability across the data platform, ensuring high standards and metrics while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build and own data quality and observability across the data platform
• Profile data, define quality rules, and establish monitoring and alerting metrics
• Investigate and resolve data issues at their source while collaborating with data engineering and business stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data quality with deep SQL and hands-on Snowflake experience
• Experience with data quality or observability tooling (e.g., dbt tests, Great Expectations)
• Proficiency in defining quality rules, metrics, and SLAs through hands-on data profiling
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to partner effectively with business stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
