Senior Data Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the accuracy and compliance of healthcare data, the full-time remote Senior Data Quality Engineer will architect automated testing frameworks, lead data validation strategies, and mentor junior QA engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality datasets for health plan clients.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and maintain automated data quality validation frameworks, including anomaly detection and monitoring
• Lead the design and implementation of automated test strategies for complex healthcare data pipelines
• Conduct root cause analysis on data quality defects and drive systemic process improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
• 6-8+ years of experience in Data Quality Engineering and Data Engineering, particularly in healthcare technology
• Expert-level SQL skills for data manipulation, validation, and profiling
• Strong automation scripting expertise in Python or Java
• Experience with cloud computing environments such as AWS and Databricks in production settings
