Senior Data Science Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the full lifecycle from raw data ingestion to model deployment, the full-time remote Senior Data Science Engineer will research, prototype, and develop ML and LLM-based models for risk detection while managing data engineering and MLOps responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Research, prototype, and develop ML and LLM-based models to solve complex business problems, focusing on risk detection
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ensure data quality across various layers
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and ML model deployment, monitoring performance and defining success metrics

Required qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience in data engineering and data science/ML, with a proven track record of deploying models to production
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Spark/PySpark for large-scale data processing
• Advanced SQL skills for complex data transformation and analysis
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake
• Fluency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Git-based development, and infrastructure as code
