Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to design models that measure and predict customer behavior and marketplace health.

Key Responsibilities

• Tackle complex problems in a global double-sided marketplace and deliver insights for product strategy changes
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Trust & Safety to provide actionable insights and shape initiatives
• Manage data workflows by cleaning, transforming, and designing schemas using Python, SQL, and Snowflake

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data science or a related role
• Degree in a quantitative field such as Math, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science; Master's or PhD preferred
• Strong background in statistical inference and applied machine learning modeling
• Experience with data wrangling and modeling in Python or R
• Proficiency in working with large-scale data on cloud platforms like SageMaker or Snowflake
