Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To drive impactful analytical solutions, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will gather and manipulate data, develop scalable machine learning models, and communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders, all while working in a collaborative and ethical environment with minimal travel requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Gathers, interprets, and manipulates structured and unstructured data to enable advanced analytical solutions
• Develops and deploys scalable machine learning models and automated solutions to deliver business insights
• Translates complex business requests into specific analytical questions and communicates outcomes to business colleagues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Science and Engineering, or related field with 4 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 12 months of experience
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Strong understanding of statistical methods, including regression, classification, and time series analysis
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud and Big Query
• Knowledge of finance and insurance industry practices
