Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior or Lead Data Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze driving data to understand customer behavior and its impact on insurance risk
• Improve algorithms and product design while incorporating additional data sources
• Monitor Telematics business performance and support regulatory responses

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Statistical/Quantitative Modeling and/or Machine Learning tools, or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, or a Master's degree in a quantitative field
• Experience using database tools such as Hadoop and SQL for processing large data sets
• Solid foundation in Data Science and Machine Learning
• Good knowledge of cloud systems like AWS for big data needs
• Experience with Data Science tools such as Python and GIT
