Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize search ranking models using Learning to Rank (LTR) approaches
• Develop and fine-tune vector search and retrieval algorithms to improve search accuracy and relevance
• Analyze large-scale search logs and user behavior data to identify improvement opportunities

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer in an e-commerce or search-centric domain
• Proven expertise in Learning to Rank, vector similarity models, and retrieval systems (e.g., BM25, ANN, Faiss, Elasticsearch, Pinecone)
• Strong programming skills in Python and libraries like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
• Solid understanding of NLP and information retrieval concepts
