Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist - GenAI.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-process and prepare data sets for computational models using technologies such as Python, SAS, or R
• Perform feature engineering and attribute evaluation using NLP methods to identify key determinants for modeling
• Select and apply appropriate modeling techniques, including machine learning and natural language processing, to address business problems

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree required; PhD preferred in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar
• Extensive experience with SAS, R, or Python for NLP use cases
• Experience with multi-modal GenAI/LLMs and prompt engineering techniques
• At least four years of experience developing scalable, production-ready NLP solutions
• Experience with transformer architecture and open-source NLP packages
