Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist for Quality and Safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze qualitative and quantitative health-related data to support quality improvement initiatives
• Develop and present engaging reports and visualizations to communicate insights effectively
• Provide technical assistance and mentorship to junior staff and respond to ad-hoc data requests

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in data science, information science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
• 3-4 years of related experience required
• 3 years of experience with large healthcare data sets for data-driven decision-making preferred
• 3 years of hands-on experience with ambulatory regulatory and pay-for-performance measures preferred
• Proficiency in data science toolkits (R, SAS, Python, SQL) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Business Objects) required
