Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist - Blockchain Research.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical data science investigations and research to develop statistical models for detecting cryptocurrency fraud and financial crime
• Research methods to analyze blockchain data and derive insights from large datasets
• Collaborate with engineers and research scientists to create algorithms for complex data structures related to cryptocurrencies and blockchains

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or Economics preferred
• 4+ years of experience in a data science role, leading end-to-end research projects
• Proficient in data science programming languages, particularly Python and SQL
• Experience with investigating financial data and a strong interest in blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and synthesize information effectively
