Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to support a federal government customer in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver onboarding demos and hands-on walkthroughs for customer data science teams, showcasing platform capabilities
• Guide customer teams through onboarding milestones including access setup, cluster provisioning, and model experimentation
• Build secure and reproducible data science pipelines using Databricks and AWS-native tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of related experience, or Master's degree and 5+ years of related experience
• Significant experience in data science roles within cloud environments (preferably AWS)
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, JupyterHub, MLflow, and AWS tools
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, R, and Spark
• Experience working in regulated or government environments
