Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join their Sales Analytics team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop sales forecasting models and contribute to self-service forecasting tools for real-time decision-making
• Manage the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, including model training, deployment, and monitoring
• Translate technical model outputs into business recommendations and mentor junior data scientists

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data science or a graduate degree in a quantitative field with 3 years focused on sales forecasting
• Expert knowledge of time series forecasting methods (e.g., ARIMA, Prophet, LSTM)
• Proficient in R or Python for data analysis tasks
• Expert in SQL for data analysis tasks
• Experience with machine learning pipelines in production environments (e.g., AWS Sagemaker, Databricks, Snowflake)
