Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to support strategic work with data and insights for community growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Build data systems for grant-funded activities and maintain internal data dashboards to track program outcomes
• Identify actionable insights from datasets to inform decision-making regarding grantmaking and partnerships
• Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment of metric calculations and improve the evolving data ecosystem

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with five years of related experience or a Master's degree with at least three years of related experience in data analysis or a related field
• Proven experience with programming languages, particularly SQL and Python
• Experience working with large-scale data processing and storage tools such as Hadoop, Hive, Presto, and Spark
• Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools like Apache Superset or Google Looker Studio
• Experience with Google Suite, including advanced coding in Google Sheets or MS Excel
