Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to support its Community Growth team with data-driven insights and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Build data systems for grant-funded activities and outcomes, ensuring standardization and connection with primary data pipelines
• Create and maintain internal data dashboards to track outcomes and impacts of Community Growth programs
• Identify actionable insights from datasets to inform decision-making regarding grantmaking and programmatic interventions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with five years of related experience or a Master's degree with at least three years of related experience in data analysis or a related field
• Proven experience with programming languages, particularly SQL and Python
• Experience working with large-scale data processing and storage tools such as Hadoop, Hive, Presto, and Spark
• Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools like Apache Superset or Google Looker Studio
• Familiarity with Google Suite, including advanced coding in Google Sheets or MS Excel
