Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Data Scientist will leverage large language models to drive real-time recommendations, design systems for data monitoring, and collaborate with machine learning engineers to productionize algorithms that impact the logistics industry.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate and implement advanced modeling methods and maintain data quality for natural language processing
• Train and assess Large Language Models while developing new features for existing algorithms
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and tech delivery teams to translate business opportunities into data science solutions and productionize successful models

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in advanced analytics, machine learning, or data science, or 1 year with an advanced degree (Masters or PhD)
• Proficiency in statistical algorithms, including boosting, classification, and regression
• Experience with programming in Python or R and familiarity with SQL
• Knowledge of transfer learning and large language models
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline
