Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Seeking a remote Senior Data Scientist specializing in Guest Travel Insurance, this full-time position will manage the development of machine learning systems for personalized insurance recommendations, optimize user journeys, and drive high-velocity experimentation to enhance guest trust and revenue.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and productionize ML models for personalized insurance recommendations based on user data and trip attributes
• Design and execute adaptive experiments to identify high-impact personalization opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on ML requirements and ensure compliance with legal and privacy standards

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience and a Master's degree or PhD in a related field
• Proven experience in building and shipping personalization and recommendation systems at scale
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience in TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Deep understanding of ML algorithms and experiment design, including A/B testing and multi-armed bandits
• Exceptional communication skills to convey complex ML concepts to diverse stakeholders
