Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Senior Data Scientist, the candidate will own attribution algorithms for specific risk categories, collaborating closely with subject matter experts to drive customer outcomes in combating illicit activities.

Key responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end attribution for a risk category, identifying targets and building algorithms for production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into actionable intelligence
• Ship production-quality code, including heuristics, ML models, and data pipelines, to drive measurable outcomes

Required qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in an analytical role with strong skills in SQL, Python, and AI-assisted coding tools
• Quantitative background in fields such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or Physics
• Experience with distributed data systems like Spark, BigQuery, or Airflow
• Demonstrated domain curiosity in blockchain, fraud, money laundering, or cybercrime
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong async communication skills
