Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Hands-on and detail-driven, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will design and implement statistical and machine learning models to enhance customer financial outcomes, owning the full modeling lifecycle while working remotely in North America.

Key responsibilities

• Independently develop and own statistical models that forecast cash flows and other drivers of business and customer health
• Design and build models that optimize product offerings to better serve customer needs
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to data science best practices and tooling roadmap

Required qualifications

• 4-7+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning or statistical models in a production environment
• Strong proficiency in Python and the broader data science ecosystem, along with high proficiency in SQL
• Familiarity with cloud-based MLOps platforms and experience in productionizing models
• Deep fundamentals in probability, statistics, and machine learning
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Financial/Applied Math, Statistics, Economics, or a related technical field; Master's or PhD is a plus
