Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Leading the development of intelligent decisioning systems, the full-time remote Senior Data Scientist will optimize inventory flow and enhance customer experiences by applying advanced machine learning and operations research techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Develop ML and operations research models for demand forecasting, inventory allocation, and price optimization
• Integrate predictive models with optimization logic to enable adaptive, data-driven decisions
• Collaborate with engineering to deploy models into production systems and ensure their robustness and scalability

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in building optimization and ML models in supply chain or fulfillment domains
• Proficiency in ML tools such as Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and scikit-learn
• Experience with SQL, Spark, Airflow, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and real-time decisioning systems
