Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Focusing on building, deploying, and scaling predictive and generative AI capabilities, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will design and implement machine learning models to enhance university operations and student outcomes in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models to improve operational efficiency and student success
• Build predictive models and decision-support tools for various university use cases, including enrollment marketing and student advising
• Develop and implement LLM-powered solutions while collaborating with stakeholders to identify high-impact analytics opportunities

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• 2-3 years of experience as a data scientist or analyst
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing machine learning models in production environments
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and common machine learning frameworks and libraries
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, natural language processing, and generative AI applications
