Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support a growing Data Science team, the full-time remote Senior Data Scientist will translate business objectives into advanced AI and machine learning models, design optimization solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business problems into well-defined data science projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and KPIs
• Design, implement, and optimize advanced machine learning and operations research models to address complex business challenges
• Monitor model performance in production and present data-driven insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, operations research, or a related area (2+ years for candidates with a PhD)
• Expertise in operations research modeling and tools (e.g., CPLEX, Gurobi)
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, and various machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow)
• Experience developing and deploying solutions in a Cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience operating in an Agile Methodology environment
