Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Hands-on and experienced, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will design and deploy scalable machine learning solutions focused on pricing optimization, demand forecasting, and promotion planning in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning solutions for pricing optimization and demand forecasting
• Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured retail datasets to uncover trends and customer behavior patterns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable ML solutions and mentor junior data scientists

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Data Science, particularly in Retail, CPG, or E-Commerce domains
• Strong programming expertise in Python, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn
• Experience with MLOps platforms and deployment pipelines, including Databricks and CI/CD for ML workflows
• Solid understanding of traditional machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling techniques, and strong SQL skills
