Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the remote Senior Data Scientist will lead the development, validation, and deployment of AI/ML models for the School (PreK-12) business unit, while guiding junior colleagues and managing diverse projects independently.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and report on projects of diverse scope with regular manager check-ins
• Support and guide junior colleagues, acting as team lead on shared projects
• Collaborate with colleagues across functions to create compelling learning experiences

Required qualifications:

• Doctoral degree (or equivalent) in AI, Data Science, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a related field
• Production experience with ML, NLP, Deep Learning, and/or LLM systems
• Ability to create efficient, scalable Python code
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects from start to finish using DS/AI knowledge
