Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support a mission-driven healthcare technology company, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will derive insights from large health datasets, focusing on causal analyses and predictive modeling to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs, with options for remote work.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and execute causal analyses of real-world health data to assess the impact of medications and interventions on patient outcomes
• Develop, validate, and deploy predictive and causal models into the medication management platform, ensuring attention to bias and generalizability
• Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to frame causal questions and communicate findings to stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• Master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong foundation in statistical inference and expertise in causal modeling with observational data
• Hands-on experience with causal machine learning methods and familiarity with relevant libraries
• 3+ years of experience working with real-world healthcare data and analyzing patient outcomes
• Proficiency in R, Python, and SQL
