Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Senior Data Scientist specializing in Operations Research, who will refactor optimization algorithms in Python, apply advanced statistical techniques to solve supply chain challenges, and develop predictive models for pricing optimization.

Key responsibilities:

• Refactor optimization algorithms using Object Oriented Programming in Python
• Utilize data science applications to address business problems in supply chain and optimization within the retail and CPG sectors
• Develop predictive models to enhance inventory management and optimize resource allocation

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience as a Data Scientist focused on supply chain optimization and inventory allocation
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Experience with mathematical programming solvers such as Gurobi, Xpress MP, CPLEX, or Google OR Tools
• Strong proficiency in Python, Pyspark, and SQL, along with data analysis and machine learning libraries
• Solid understanding of statistical methods, optimization techniques, and predictive modeling concepts
