Job Summary

As a key contributor within the AI/ML team, the full-time remote Senior Data Scientist will design and implement machine learning models for search and recommendation systems, enhancing customer experiences through improved relevance and personalization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning models for search and recommendation systems, focusing on ranking, retrieval, and personalization
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build scalable data pipelines and integrate ML models into production services via APIs
• Monitor and evaluate model performance through A/B testing and metrics analysis to identify opportunities for improvement

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI
• Strong experience with search and recommendation systems or ranking problems
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and/or Solr
• Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field preferred
