Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Leading advanced analytics efforts, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop decision support tools and predictive models for Department of Defense healthcare and readiness initiatives, while working in a hybrid remote environment near Falls Church, VA.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with customers and technical teams to define program scope, goals, and deliverables
• Lead a team of data scientists and analysts to develop long-term analytic products and execute advanced analytics
• Develop interactive dashboards and applications to deliver actionable insights and support decision-making

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience
• Strong experience applying data science, statistics, and operations research techniques
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
• Experience leading analytic projects and mentoring team members
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and experience with DoD or Military Health System data preferred
