Job Summary

Driving product and program analytics for Microsoft skilling experiences, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will analyze learner journeys, define success metrics, and conduct experiments to enhance user experiences and improve learner proficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own product/program analytics to inform strategy and enhance the learner experience
• Design and analyze learner journeys to understand behavior and identify opportunities for improvement
• Plan and evaluate experiments to measure the impact of new features and provide actionable insights

Required qualifications

• Doctorate in a relevant field with 1+ years of data science experience, or a Master's Degree with 3+ years, or a Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience
• Experience managing structured and unstructured data and applying statistical techniques
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, KQL, or similar analytics tools
• Experience in product/journey analytics and causal inference
• Hands-on experience with large-scale enterprise data platforms
