Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support a growing Data Science team, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will own machine learning initiatives that enhance customer personalization and engagement, working remotely to design robust models and drive rigorous experimentation.

Key responsibilities

• Design robust feature representations from high-cardinality behavioral data to capture user intent and predict engagement
• Architect systems that adapt to changing user preferences, ensuring recommendations reflect current intent
• Leverage cohort signals and clustering to solve the cold-start problem and ensure personalized experiences for new customers

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, applied machine learning, or a related quantitative role
• Deep expertise in personalization, search ranking, or recommender systems with experience in multi-stage architectures
• Strong grounding in statistics, causal inference, and experimentation
• Production-level engineering skills in Python and SQL, with experience scaling models using big data frameworks
• A commercial mindset to translate complex business constraints into scalable ML architectures
