Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Supporting the Safeguards risk-based review selection process, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will enhance and maintain risk models, health score calculations, and analytics while working remotely to identify at-risk agency partners and prioritize reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Build enhancements and maintain risk models supporting review selection
• Develop and maintain risk dashboards showing findings, risk levels, and historical trends
• Aggregate and evaluate data to identify at-risk agency partners and validate automated risk rankings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, mathematics, engineering, finance, economics, data science, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience using scientific methods to extract insights from structured and unstructured data
• Proficiency in automation and scripting techniques, including Tableau, R programming, Python 3, and VBA
• Experience presenting analytic results to management and non-technical personnel
• Ability to complete IRS suitability / staff-like access requirements
