Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely or from the Wayzata, MN headquarters, the full-time salaried Senior Data Scientist in Research and Development will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop complex predictive and computer vision models, delivering sustainable food manufacturing solutions across multiple facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex data science projects on time and within budget
• Translate complex business problems into clear project charters, identifying technical risks and project scope
• Oversee the entire data science workflow, including exploratory data analysis, model development, deployment, and monitoring

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, or 3 years with a Master's degree, or 2 years with a Ph.D
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Hands-on experience developing computer vision models for image classification, object detection, and segmentation
• Experience deploying ML models using containerized deployment frameworks like Docker or Podman
