Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Working from the Wayzata, MN headquarters or remotely, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop complex predictive and computer vision models, managing the entire data science workflow to deliver sustainable food manufacturing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, and business experts to deliver complex projects on time and within budget
• Translate complex business problems into clear project charters, identifying technical risks and project scope
• Oversee the entire data science workflow, including exploratory data analysis, model development, deployment, and monitoring

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, or 3 years with a Master's degree, or 2 years with a Ph.D. in a related discipline
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Hands-on experience developing computer vision models for image classification, object detection, and segmentation
• Experience deploying ML models using a containerized deployment framework (Docker, Podman, etc.)
