Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Senior Data Scientist for a full-time remote position, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable machine learning solutions focused on pricing optimization, demand forecasting, and promotion planning in retail and e-commerce environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of machine learning solutions for pricing optimization and demand forecasting
• Analyze large-scale retail datasets to uncover trends and develop data-driven strategies to maximize revenue
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable ML solutions and mentor junior data scientists

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Data Science, particularly in Retail, CPG, or E-Commerce
• Strong programming expertise in Python, including experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn
• Experience with MLOps platforms and deployment pipelines, including Databricks and CI/CD for ML workflows
• Solid understanding of traditional machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques
