Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To influence Mozilla's long-term strategy, the remote Senior Staff Data Scientist will partner with senior executives to provide data-driven insights, build trusted relationships across teams, and deliver sophisticated analytical solutions to complex problems.

Key responsibilities

• Shape important business decisions through rigorous, data-driven insights and clear recommendations
• Build trusted partnerships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align stakeholders and facilitate decision-making
• Serve as a technical leader by mentoring data scientists and enhancing the quality of analytical work across the organization

Required qualifications

• Deep expertise in Python or R, SQL, and statistics with a strong foundation in analytical methods
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to both technical and executive audiences
• Experience driving alignment across cross-functional teams and leading through influence
• Curiosity for emerging technologies and sound judgment regarding their application
• Experience across multiple industries or domains is a plus
