Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Senior Data Scientist focused on Operations Research, who will refactor optimization algorithms in Python, apply advanced statistical techniques for pricing optimization, and develop predictive models to enhance supply chain efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

• Refactor optimization algorithms using Object Oriented Programming in Python
• Utilize data science applications to address business challenges in supply chain and optimization for retail and CPG sectors
• Develop predictive models to improve inventory management and optimize resource allocation across the supply chain

Required qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience as a Data Scientist with a focus on supply chain optimization and inventory allocation
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Experience with mathematical programming solvers such as Gurobi, Xpress MP, CPLEX, or Google OR Tools
• Strong proficiency in Python, Pyspark, and SQL, with experience in data analysis and machine learning libraries
• Solid understanding of statistical methods, optimization techniques, and predictive modeling concepts
