Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Seeking a highly autonomous Senior Data Scientist II, the remote position focuses on building, enhancing, and scaling Bayesian modeling pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven products that deliver measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex Bayesian and probabilistic modeling pipelines, ensuring production readiness
• Set technical direction on challenging modeling problems and make key methodological decisions
• Mentor other data scientists and communicate methods and results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Required qualifications

• Strong foundation in Bayesian inference and probabilistic modeling, including hierarchical and time-series models
• 8+ years of industry experience as a data scientist with a BS in a quantitative field, or 5+ years with a PhD
• Experience applying Bayesian methods to real-world production data
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern probabilistic programming and numerical computing tools
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
