Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support critical initiatives in Trust, the remote Senior Data Scientist will design measurement frameworks, lead experimentation efforts, and develop statistical models to enhance platform safety and user experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement measurement and evaluation frameworks to assess Trust defenses and identify improvement opportunities
• Lead the design and analysis of experiments and quasi-experiments in complex environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Build and iterate on statistical and Bayesian models to quantify risk and provide causal interpretations of signals from machine learning systems

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a quantitative analysis role with a Master's degree in a quantitative field, or 2+ years with a PhD
• Deep expertise in experimentation and causal inference methodologies
• Strong knowledge of Bayesian modeling and its applications in measurement and decision-making
• Proficient in statistical programming and database usage, with strong skills in SQL and Python or R
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights for diverse audiences
